Description: This course will explore the use of adaptive optics (AO) in forms of adaptive optics scanning laser ophthalmoscopy (AO-SLO) and adaptive optics optical coherence tomography (AO-OCT) to acquire in-vivo images of the retina at the cellular level. It will show the audience the latest research in AO-SLO and AO-OCT, from the most recent advancement in capabilities to image the ganglion cells with AO-OCT, to application of AO-SLO in clinical trials of gene therapy targeting inherited retinal diseases.
