Virtual Learning Labs
This innovative approach to the traditional Learning Lab connects attendees with experts in the field in an online environment. The Virtual Learning Labs come in three methodologies:

Simulation – This type of Learning Lab will feature an online simulation where the attendees will experience and work through a skill on IJCAHPO’s Learning Systems. The Learning Labs will be held live through a virtual meeting platform where instructors will interact with and provide feedback to attendees.

Live in Clinic – In this type of Learning Lab, attendees will work in their own clinic and on their own equipment performing the skill with the instructor serving as a mentor. The course will be held live through a virtual meeting platform.

Prerequisite Courses – If you register for a Learning Lab with a required prerequisite, you will receive separate instructions on how to access this course prior to the beginning of the program.

All of these Virtual Learning Lab types offer the expertise to learn a new skill in the safety of your own clinic or home. Requirements: Some Learning Labs will require computer technologies, ophthalmic equipment, clinic access and a patient.
