ACE 2021 Health and Safety Information

As we prepare for ACE, we are committed to keeping your health and safety our top priority. The ACE team is continuing to monitor the situation alongside the White House, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), local public health officials, the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and our venue the Hilton New Orleans Riverside for guidance on how best to ensure the well-being of all attendees and staff on site at ACE 2021. Important Note: you (all attendees) voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 when attending ACE 2021 meetings and events.

IJCAHPO is working with the Hilton New Orleans Riverside regarding the following changes to the ACE 2021:
  • Meeting room layouts will accommodate social distancing requirements and sanitization protocols.
  • All meeting participants will be required to wear facemasks at all educational sessions and social events.
The ACE team is taking precautions and proactively running contingency scenarios to guarantee we deliver the same high-quality networking, access to variety of educational offerings that you have come to expect. The opening of registration, educational offerings and enhancements to ACE 2021 will be highlighted in future announcements.

Registration will open after August 1, 2021. The full ACE program and updates will be listed on the ACE website starting in August.

Housing

Hotel reservations must be made through the AAO Housing Bureau. Housing for Allied Ophthalmic personnel open on July 7, 2021. See www.aao.org/hotels for details.
